Country and Americana songwriter Russ Kendrick Martin was recently featured on a segment of WNWN's Homegrown Program. Martin is a veteran performer and a regular feature in bars and honky tonks across the Midwest.
The program, recorded in Battle Creek and broadcast February 10 on Win 98.5 featured Martin performing two songs from his newly-released album, Carburetor.
Martin told host Kody Mac, the album is currently available through online digital retailers and he's planning a crowdfunding campaign to help finance the production of physical CD's. Those should be available this summer.
Homegrown features musicians from the Tri-State area in segments that air each Tuesday evening at 6:15.
